\nRachel loves Miami but due to the transient nature, sometimes finds it difficult to meet people, which is why she loves her audience on social media so much. She loves that she can interact, stay connected and meet so many people all in one spot.

Before Rachel became an influencer, she worked in Construction Management for 13 years. Since she has always been one to take pictures of her food before digging in, after years of her friends pushing her to create a standalone page, she finally did it.

Pictures are worth a thousand words! Of course like many of us, it is never easy starting a new journey. Rachel said it can be hard working for yourself because there is never time to relax, to say no, and no off button. Work life tends to take over, and it does not leave much room for a social life.

Sometimes she wishes that she worked a job that ended at 5pm, but then there would not be any of the freedom this career gives or the ability to connect with her audience.

As someone that has always loved traveling, she reduced the amount she traveled after moving to Miami, which she says is paradise to her. This gave her the amazing opportunity to be able to showcase Miami’s local cuisines as well as share her many recommendations and travel experiences.
\nAfter a while, Rachel started to notice that her audience was starting to get curious about her workout and day to day routine. That is when she started incorporating behind the scenes footage of what goes on when she is not indulging in a big amount of food. Rachel does tons of yoga, spin and walking while eating a healthy meal behind the scenes; she will also sometimes walk 3 miles before eating.
\nMany of her audience ask what happens to the food she does not finish. Well, don’t worry, none if it goes to waste. She says that she often shoots with other bloggers, and sometimes even shares with the restaurant’s staff. Rachel also does a lot of drop offs to locals who are less fortunate.

Although it has been tough for her, with no sponsorships in months, she was able to use that time to achieve new cooking skills, be creative with how she showcases her outfits in her apartment, and create fun, new never before seen recipes on her page. This helped her become successful and grow into becoming her truest self while gaining a substantial amount of followers.
\nWith restaurants opening up again, Rachel uses her platform to help local places who have been struggling.

She does know that the right door, made for her will come her way as long as she puts the skills she learned through photography, editing and negotiating to use. These skills, as well as the connections she has made will land her directly where she needs to be.
\nWe also took the opportunity to ask Rachel about the dream brands she wants to work with one day. She said she has worked with some amazing brands such as, @Disney, @Toyota, @American Airlines, @Wendy’s, and @Norwegian Cruise. These were some of the brands that she is the most proud of and has trusted for years, she is very thankful that these companies have chosen her to represent them. As for dream brands, @Taco Bell is on her top list because of her obsession with it. She also wishes to be able to collaborate with @Kayak, @Doritios and @Oreos to name a few.

The name was “Hotéis Incríveis,” a show for Brazilian television. He became more involved and learned about the luxury and travel industry. André loves the details, great service and treatment received in the luxury hotels.
\nAndré thinks when taking a break from directing TV, he would like to have some freedom for himself to travel around the planet.

\nAndré is an artist at heart. He studied drama and music since a young age. He has been working on a music project as a singer for the past year and is planning to release it next year.

Avis, Budget and Hertz are all available as well local gems such as Centerline Car Rental. Due to high demand in St. Croix, advanced reservations are recommended. Another recommendation? Try bringing a small bottle of antimicrobial cleaner and a towel or paper towels so you can wipe things down before getting in just to be safe.
\nThis US Virgin Island is the perfect spot for a for a low key, socially distanced and affordable vacation. Free spirited xennial travelers and influencers, aka those in their mid-30’s to mid 40’s are going to fall in love with St. Croix (well, really, all ages). An ideal Caribbean escape, St. Croix offers casual luxury and adventure without the hustle and bustle of sister island St. Thomas or spring break destinations like the Dominican Republic.

\nOnce you book your flights. rental cars and places to stay, it is time to dig into planning the fun.
\nTreat yourself to a freshly made local juice and a yoga class at the Courtyard Juices and Fitness Center, located in downtown Christiansted. Check out their “live”class schedule to ensure your class is being held on site as some classes are still virtual. The open air studio is covered but not enclosed allowing for fresh airflow to keep you safe during your post-COVID vacation. Bring your mat and your mask.
\nWhile you’re in St. Croix, you will want to be sure to make time to soak up the sun at one of the many beaches. While no beach in the US Virgin Islands is considered private, many beaches will feel private as you will have them to yourself. Drive along the east end, south shore, north shore or west end roads that run along the sea shore to find a perfect spot. You’ll find some beaches right along the road, especially along the north shore and west end and others with driveways or walkways to bring you down to the shore such as Smugglers Cove on the far east end of the island.

Hand carved in the 1600’s by the Knights of Malta, Monk’s bath is an amazing salt water pool carved into the sea. You’ll want to have shoes, not just flip flops, if you have water shoes, even better.

Mount Eagle is the highest point on the island and boasts the best views you will find. The hike is short, maybe about a mile but it is 90% uphill on the way up and will take 30-45 minutes. The walk down is much faster at about 20 minutes. There isn’t much wildlife on the island aside from birds, the occasional birds and unpleasant crawly things but if you’re lucky you may spot a wild horse or mountain goat as we did on our first hike up the mountain. Head out early to avoid the midday sun which can be brutal.

If you are up for organized activities, you will want to give horseback riding a try. Cruzan Cowgirls will bring you on a guided ride through the rain forest and along the beach, all while staying at least 6 feet apart in the open fresh air. It’s a great way to experience the true beauty of the island. Cruzan Cowgirls is not only the go to place for horseback riding on the island of St. Croix but also serve as a resource to the community, providing education to owners and care to rescued animals as the only non-profit horse rescue on the island.
\nRestaurants may be closed for dining in when you visit St. Croix but St. Croix takeout or delivery will still be an option. One benefit of being somewhere that stays warm year round is a plethora of open air restaurant concepts. Whether you are looking to eat in (when allowed) or order take away that you pickup, open air restaurants are your friend when it comes to social distancing and safety during COVID and beyond.

Located on the Christiansted Boardwalk, Rum Runners is a St. Croix favorite for locals and tourists alike. \nAIs are already part of our life. The first time you saw a self-checkout aisle at the store did you think of an AI? Well, that is just the start of the job takeover by the AIs. It has been predicted that as many as 8 million jobs will be taken over by AIs worldwide by 2030. Will this be you or are lucky enough not to have to find a new field?
\nWhat is artificial intelligence? AI is the result of engineering and science creating smart machines. First, there was rule-based AIs, where the robot was given a set of rules to fallow for a specific task.
\nNow there are also, AIs that continually learn from the data they collect, and that is the machine learning robots. Machine learning robots can be dangerous. The more data Machine learning robots are given the more they learn, and in turn, these AIs will take over more jobs that humans originally did.
\nArtificial intelligence has been around for longer then most people think. The thought of AI has been around since ancient times. The actual field of artificial intelligence was officially founded at a conference at Dartmouth College surprisingly not till 1956.
\nEverybody has had interactions with some sort of AI like;
\nYeah, it is great having those convinces. You probably do not think much about the interactions you have with the smart machines, but people used to do those jobs. The more scientists push for AI funding the more jobs AIs will take over.
\nIs this for the better or worse? A big fear many people have is that their job could be replaced by AIs. Haven’t humans already delt jobs being replaced by some sort of technology? Yes, we have gone through this before, machines taking jobs.
\nThe difference with this is how rapidly people are expecting robots to take human jobs. The danger in this is, it doesn’t give people time to learn a new skill to have a job down the road. The AIs will take most jobs that don’t require upper education, that are repetitive and on the less creative side will disappear quicker than others.
\nA career that is expected to be taken over by 2027 by robots is truck driving. Like many other jobs that AIs will take over, truck driving is a job that people who don’t go to school can do. They can also make a decent living and stay out of poverty.
\nAre we really going to let AIs replace jobs and possible ruin many people’s lives? I can’t imagine how devastating that is for billions of families.

It’s not only the customer service jobs that are in jeopardy due to AIs taking jobs. Some professional jobs are in danger as well, like, accountants, Drs, and lawyers.
\n\n
An article on Fortune stated that “40% of jobs in the world will be replaced by robots within the next 15 years.” Some people speculate that more jobs will open in the AI industry, but others say that’s BS.
\nIf the AIs job take over is primarily the repetitive jobs, then why wouldn’t an AI help to make the other AIs. I don’t see more job opening due to more AIs needing to be made. This is a huge job loss that should worry people.
\nMany people will have to learn a new trait, or somehow get an education when they don’t have a way to pay for it. One would hope that the government would help out and try to figure out a new route for people who lost their jobs.
\nOr, is it just going to be more people in poverty and using the government’s benefits? Sadly, I have not heard of anything that the government is doing to prepare the US citizens for this; however, there still is time for the government to figure some things out.

That is, having robots take over certain jobs it will eliminate some of the mistake’s humans do, making the process go smoother and quicker.
\nThis would help humans not work as many hours during the week. In turn, it would give people more free time to do what they want and start enjoying life more. The article also speculated that expenses would go down. Having AIs work will be cheaper to make products, however; people’s income would also drop.
\nHopefully, as outcome companies would drop their prices. Sadly, if companies want to be greedy, they could keep their prices high until enough people can’t buy their products.
\nWill people be ok with making less and would everything end up balancing out? Theirs’s already enough hard-working people with professional jobs who are barely making it by because of the cost of living.
\nNow, most households need both people working if you want to be able to do things you enjoy. It is hard for me to believe that things would balance out. That doesn’t even consider all the people who lost their jobs due to AIs taking their job.

AIs will make things safer. I understand the need to make sure the public is safer. Having AIs drive will cut down auto accidents. I think that’s great and if the self-driving cars are that good then we should have them.
\nHowever, the people who are losing their job should be given the option to go through a program that helps them gain skills that will not be taken over by AIs.
\n\n
You have worked in customer service your whole life because you can make a decent living off it, but now that industry is gone. What should you do? I would start learning a new skill that AIs will not take over.

Instead of having your first job be in customer service chances are the younger generations first job will be in their career. The days where fast food is run by humans will end. Children need to be prepared to have skills coming out of high school if they don’t plan on going to school, or should the government implement a trade school option for Juniors and Seniors in high school?
\nThe parents need to start encouraging kids to not be lazy and figure what they like and how that can be applied to a non-AI career, computer science is never a bad option.
\nWhat is sad is that there will always be lazy people who will only do what they need to get by. What will happen to those people? More homeless people or more people on state benefits?
\nSomething needs to be done so people don’t lose their career because scientists want to create a machine so smart that it takes over people’s lives. People will lose their source of income, because of the AIs taking over and will we have another rust belt on our hands?
\nYes, there are some positives to AIs doing some jobs but to what extent will it end?
